Internship

On Saturday I was down with fever..So I was really moody the whole day..I can barely move my head as it hurts so much

I checked my bank account balance as I should be receiving my December pay anytime soon now..and I got  it!

I was overwhelmed with joy despite my sickness haha..I got freaking 1.6k!!

I guess the calculation is like this,

Rm 1000 (2 months bonus) + Rm100 (Overtime pay) + Rm500 (December pay) = Rm1.6k

Doesn't seem like much..but this is the pay for just my last month of internship =O

Ahh...my dedication and overtime is totally worth it! My bosses loves me. I got great feedback and pay.

I kept pushing myself to be different from other interns.

Of course, at the end of it all..I thank God for giving me such different experience from others.

As my work involves A LOT of driving, I thank God for keeping me safe even when driving through heavy storm and limited sight (because of the terrible company car provided)

I've been told someone died during internship thr before >.<

I didn't experience God in a supernatural way but I know He intervenes in my life by making me fruitful and a blessing to other people. 

Jesus be the center of my life! Nothing else matters.

What's enough to prove God is in my life? This company I'm working for have really strong complaints from many previous interns till the point some uni actually stopped sending interns there.

I had a great experience and I learnt so much about this field. So I can't stress enough, that this is not mere luck!

I have met wonderful people in work but of course some stand out from others. I don't have much pics..These are all from the annual dinner we had haha..

On the most right is my teammate. He's an engineer there and I'm supposed to be his driver haha..
He's a christian too..I guess that's why he's such a great guy
He's the one I appreciate the most and I couldn't thank him enough.
He really took care of me during my internship..helping me to escape work and not treating me like a driver.
Taught me everything I need to know for the job and helped me fight for my bonus. We're like friends now haha..and I'll be treating him to a dinner this week =)
Most of my working time is spent with him as I'm teamed up with him..but the most fun I had with him is my conversation with him regarding christianity in the car.
There are a lot two christians can argue about, such as Christmas, Trinity and so on.
I didn't have what it takes to argue..haha
This really gave me a push to be in the next level of my belief.
I grew up in the church for 21 years and I've never yearned for more..Now I have another big kick in my life!

The other two guys are interns there also.

Left     :  Handsome boss who gave training..Gosh he's so deep I could barely understand him haha
Center :  He's a very nice boss! Though it's annoying when he assign task to me haha =P
Right    : This guy has a really bright future. I learnt so much from talking with him haha

4 great girls in the company!
The 2 on the left talks real funny and are the people I usually have lunch with haha..
The 3rd from left is the most friendly HR any company can ever have. She can really talk and I love talking with her as she doesn't do things like threaten people but motivate people to commit to the company.
On the right..I think she's the assistant HR there. She's really dedicated in her work and often gives me food..lol..I think she's gonna miss me too..she's the last person who talked to me before I leave. She praised me for good performance...never giving her trouble by taking too many MC haha..

I really cherish these few people but I don't think I wanna return to the company
Problem with it is the telecommunication field..
Oh well, who knows what may come =)

New semester is starting soon..Gotta study again

Idle mind

Status: in the office yawning.

Sigh..I've been taking a break for a few weeks now as we're out of task for the moment. Currently my company is having training in the other room but I can't understand shit. .so I'm here..sitting and doing nothing zzz..

I don't have anything to share except that I have a new phone now...which I assume the whole world already know about it haha..
I'm so happy with my new S3!..no complain from me as it is a significant improvement from my blackberry. .heh
I have something to complain though...even the front camera is too clear

I can see everything that's on my face..zits..you name it zz

On the upper hand..I get to use apps..Owh instagram is so awesome..It's my new facebook heh..

They are so tasty especially the Kiwi flavour, aka Greenday

They have funky names for each flavours..

Like yam is for Gwen Stefany, Durian is Namewee, Apple flavour is Steve Jobs, Chicken floss flavour is Megan Floss

And..my personal favourite, Strawberry is Katy Berry

Hahaha...I love those funky names..and I'd say their marketing really works cuz now...Occubite muffins is a must have when i go to Festival City haha

Friends, I am now on whatsapp...I'm bored ALL THE TIME so...don't hesitate to give me a message haha..

I really enjoyed my working experience...Earn some money..and i don't have the stress of studies

However, I found out so much about my future jobs...I'm very unhappy with the field I've chosen...Not much money for the amount of hard work put in

Intelligence is important too..Sigh..

I need a practical business idea..I will not work as an engineer till I die.

I really feel like taking an easy way out of the hardships of life..I already got a taste of it from working..it's really unpleasant as u get to see boss living a prosperous life while u struggle to make ends meet.

By an easy way out..I mean working as an air steward.. The only problem is my height.

Hahah...I don't even know what I'm saying...my point is..engineering is not my life. =(

Little Things in Life

Yesterday after pumping petrol on my way back. The car oil tank was full!

Well..sorta..it's an old car..so the meter fluctuate every moment. It was full I swear haha!

And I took this pic while driving 80km/h..=/

I felt so good..so I had to make this ridiculous/awesome picture hahah..
This incident reminded me of a website where people express their gratitude for little good things that happen in their daily life.
Well I was pretty happy yesterday.. watched a good movie and had someone to accompany me.

I do have sad twist in my life ya know..
I had this annoying/manipulative foreigner colleague which I have to work with sometimes and I had to fetch him to work every working morning.
I wouldn't mind fetching him..cuz I pick him up halfway on my route to work.
Okay..this guy doesn't pay me anything..doesn't offer to treat me for a lunch or anything. That I can live by cuz I had to use that route anyway. Just doing charity work.

BUT..the thing that ticks me off is that...when he's late..he'll keep me waiting for more than 10 mins.
10 mins is very precious when ur're paying ur own petrol and when ur work starts at 9..There u are..still waiting for that stupid guy at 9:00am!
I said 10 mins cuz that's my threshold..there are a few times I left him after 10mins of wait..eventho I know he's just about 2 mins away.
Now I have a way to combat this. Well, I probably should inform him about this new rule I have. When I reach..he's not there..I'll leave right away
I usually reach pick up point about 8:50am. There's no reason I should wait anyway.

I found out that foreigners are generally harder to work with. WHY? I'm not racist ok haha..
I work with a Malay guy all the time and we're like good buddies now..
With those foreigners...when we're out at site..We sometimes have to wait and do nothing while waiting for boss's task for us.
We were waiting from 3pm..then at about 4pm. Those 2 bastards kept pestering me..asking when can they go home
They said "We have to leave at 5pm!" and yes they were kinda shouting at me..cuz I'm the leader for the team tht time..
Gawd seriously..our work specifies we work until 6pm..SO, we must be under boss's instruction until 6.
I told them this "I don't care whatever problem u have. I have no say in this. Call the boss directly and tell him u wanna go back at 5pm" and in my heart...I knew there is a big chance he might fail his internship...this guy is famous for being dumb while working..talk too much..complain too much and NOT FOCUSED
He had a cheek to ask me to sms boss saying they wanna go back
I replied "Inform yourself. I don't wanna get in between u guys"
It's a real mental torture to work with dumbass. I know tht first hand now
I sincerely wish he fail his internship..He's all talk and nothing else. Tsk tsk...

I really dislike him cuz he criticize 1 song which I like vr much. Zzz..When the radio play Karmin's "Brokenhearted"..he said to the radio "you know what, you're full of shit" then changed the channel. I'm just behind leh..he acted like he own the car. Tsk tsk..
I don't wanna listen to music from the last few decades (Light fm) the whole time laa..tiring to listen..
I have to endure 9 hours in the car with tht guy...so imagine..I had to keep it all to myself ='(
I really miss partnering with the malay guy T.T

Working life, etc, etc...

SO..

It's been a long time huh haha..I wanted to update long time ago..but didn't really had the time

First of all..look at my hair! It has grown longer and I'm having sexy curls ;)

Nahh...I really want to cut my hair..but after my recent argument with my uncle..I feel uneasy to ask my uncle to cut my hair for me 

Other than my uncle, I only let 1 other saloon to cut my hair.. which is Red in Setapak

Reasonable price and their skills is superb =)

Everytime I reach Setapak, it's already nighttime..

Sigh..nvm la..i'll have my sexy curls for a while more..take a break from short, shaved hair haha..

After someone commented my wallet "damn thick"..Then only i realise that my wallet damn fat not because of money, obviously.
It's full of cards..I'm a member of everything zz..but I love the rewards when I redeem them with the cards..Card holder isn't a solution..A guy only brings wallet, phone and keys when he's going out..Unless u have man purse (sarcastic). Oh how the world has changed..

My favourite card is Starbucks card! Love to swipe it when buying drinks cuz I'll be
guilt-free...hahaha..That's how starbucks earn our money -.-

When u go to a concert..unless u might have a chance to be REALLY near them..Don't even bother to buy those mid priced tickets..just buy the cheapest..haha..

But! must arrive early la..if not u won't get nice seats

I've been having problem at work..Last week..I worked for 7days straight

Till I finally got a day off on Sunday..I call it a day off cuz the project is freaking crazy!!

Currently me and 1 engineer is in 1 team..and the project requires 2 teams..but we are the only team so..we really worked our ass off!

Sometimes I got so tired I kept yawning and...my work requires me to look at the computer screen or drive...Both I'm incapable of doing when I'm dead tired..but the task MUST be done on the given day..zz

It's finally over..when the vendor side could not solve some problems..So we had 3 lazy working days already..haha

So here I am..finally, I have some time to blog T.T

I sent email of complain titled "Problem at work" to the HR manager..and I got this reply!

Hi Foong,

FYI, I have brought up your problem to Mr K with Mr S as a witness. It is great to hear that you have really done a very good job and made so much commitment in your work as an internship.

As discussed, Mr K have emphasize that company will not change our policy on giving out special allowances or extra OT to you because it will not be fair to others that have also work very hard on their projects. But to appreciate your hardship to the company, the management had decide to pay special BONUS to you by end of your internship based on the recommendation on your immediate supervisors and the PMs.

Hope this e-mail will answer your problem and make you more motivate to work with us.

I really need some extra money for my upcoming SG trip...

I thought the trip cost about rm500..but after rough calculation...zzz

I need around rm800 for the trip...wuawua T.T

What a day

What a day I had...It isn't exactly one day..I haven't sleep since 9am yesterday..and it's 11am now..
I've been very kecoh about the reason in fb..haha
After coming back from 9am-6pm office hours..I came back with weak legs...so tired~
I received a call asking me to work on 2am..zzz..I had plenty of time to sleep..I went to bed at 8pm and stayed wide awake till 12:30am..I think I slept for like 10 mins..haha (insomniac)
So my job was to drive around..It doesn't really matter la how menial my job is..I learnt alot!
So many terms..I had to ask many things..That's what people do during intern isn't it..keep on asking question!
The boring part is..I have to drive through the SAME kampung road for 13 times..cuz the engineer need to collect data
Midnight la tu...so dark and how i hate those bumpers -.- and so dangerous samo..
I worked from 2:30am-7am..work is finished by 7..but my goodness the traffic jam =.=
My job very boring laa..have to do menial jobs..but the opportunity to learn is alot..so ok laa..

I'm so glad I have midnight jobs..I was worrying about the "gum infection" that has been causing serious pain for the 2nd month now..So my problem is solved..I got to visit the dentist for consultation
The explanation was shocking to me..T.T

Previously I had like a hole at the side of the mouth..it was black and greyish in colour
but thanks to my effort in keeping my mouth clean..the infection went away..so it's flesh colour now..but there's still a hole at gums..So i thought it was flesh eating bacteria that kinda thing.
The dentist told me that my wisdom tooth is having trouble growing..I lied to her the pain has been thr for 1 month..she asked me to do x-ray..but i refused..cuz x-ray ain't good right~
Actually I had been suffering for 2nd month d..or 3rd month..I'm not sure..
So she scheduled an appointment for consultation next month on the 5th..So i can decide to do x-ray then do  surgery to remove my wisdom tooth..
She explained the procedure..cut the gums, pull out wisdom tooth..stitch back

I refused...so she gave me scaling first..even while she's doing that..I wanted to ask her to stop
I hate scaling =.=...so painful..
Haih..so the deadline has been set..I hope my tooth grow out well before 5th..
If not I'll go through surgery from hell..haha

She gave me these...mouthwash and panadol -.-
So...there's really no remedy for the pain except to fight infection..and suppress the pain with panadol
aiks...whatever..I need sleep now! Sayo~
