Semester Break

 This semester break is just a dull one.. I made it so with no trips planned but I really enjoy relaxing 8)
On the 1st week...I got pulled into joining an event called "Warbeque" by the youth in KAOG..haha

However, I changed my mind after seeing how much effort they put into this event. I really thank God for Uncle Bob..He's my spiritual mentor and he did a great job organizing this event =)
I had fun..

We danced alot that night and I would love to talk about a game which they played..Which I thought was genius!
It's a really fun game..but I can't describe the game well..So I shan't haha

My family had a lovely midsummer celebration..Everybody came and it was festive!
Nothing much to say about it..Gonna let the pics do the talking cuz I'm kinda tired of typing d haha..

Oh..We had one heck of a dinner..There were 8 dishes per table..and we couldn't finish it haha

Project Part 1

I've been working on my Final Year Project for quite some time..and this isn't part 1 of my project actually

We had done theory and target extension work before we build the foundation for the new site for our project >.<

I don't think readers understand our project so far

So here it is..This is the whole system for our project..

Firstly, No, we did not build this friggin' thing..It's a senior work and our job is to research using this system..haha

Our 1st task is to extend the target thingy..and it was done within 2 weeks..We took our sweet time cuz the measurements have to be very accurate..I was already complaining after we completed this task lol.

 

 Then comes the devil's task...We need to move this whole system to another location..Gosh..
Initially I thought this task is no biggie..Just have to carry the 200kg system..but building foundation is a real bitchy task!

Firstly, we had to dig 3 x 3 feet size hole on the ground..

It was terrible..but I got to release my tension la..I used the hoe and lost my temper on those huge ass stone which are disrupting our work. At one point, I hit so hard that I saw sparks flying haha!

But I ruined the hoe and got scolded la..It was bent d..

How should we know there's a thing called demolition hammer when they didn't tell us -.-"

We digged on the 1st and 2nd day..It was tough!

 Then, I built this cage thingy as reinforcement..It was fun la..just stepping on it and bending it haha

But ah...When the cement was poured in, the whole "reinforcement" collapsed halfway! Haha,..

One heck of a reinforcement yeah? xD

 Hammering in "akar tunjang" for our foundation..Something interesting that we learnt that day

 All things together~

 

We completed the foundation in 2 days time..and at the end of the day I was quite worried I'll faint right thr..I got to work construction job 1st hand from step 1 like bangla..Gosh

I felt like crying when we almost completed tht friggin' thing...

cuz I couldn't carry anymore bucket of stones and sands from approximately 1.5km away..T.T

Oh and did I mention the uphill slope to the new site? haha..

We fetched those ingredients about 6 times..

We also had to carry this heavy mixer..4 person pushed this mixer uphill..Man...

Voila~!
It was finally done..It doesn't look professional but whatever la eh? If I had to do more..I'll really cry
I was badly sunburnt..So I had my cap and jacket on whole day under the friggin' sun..

I haven't been exposed to the sun for a few months d..and I got much fairer d..Sighhh...now...

 Oh..I missed out smtg..haha
When we were about to pour the cement for the 2nd time, (we had to pour 5 times to fill the hole completely)..my friend who's handling the mixer got so tired and couldn't hold the tilted mixer!
The mixer fell and got stuck in the hole hahaha..It was quite a scene! hahaha

And ahh....I've made some cold jokes when working..I thought it was funny la..Maybe they're too tired to respond hahaha..Ahh..who knows...
I made this joke..If we kept digging we might find gold! and when we're smashing the stones..I said maybe we might find a diamond inside haha..
So lame right? haha..
Okay..now that I realise how lame I sound..Time to sign off!

Reminiscing

I've been like...super busy..haha! Nah..I didn't wanna blog even during sem break
I guess I just don't have much to blog about..
Since I moved to single room, I've been living quite a lonely life..Catching up with friends once in a while..but this is the life I've chosen..I am an introvert person..blabla...Oh I'm getting off topic! haha!
I got to know new friends..My super gay friend who always ask me to go to the gym whenever his crush is there training..According to him that guy is super hot..but..meh~

I'm busy preparing for finals..but I got some time to look at facebook tagged pics..and they were awesome..Almost like how part of my history is written in my blog~
I realise that most of my pics were taken after SPM..
Hm..I really don't remember much without pics but it's alright..The only thing I love about highschool are the friends whom are still in contact with me..Friendship never dies eh ;)

Long Overdue

I've been meaning to post for a long time. It's about my grandmother.

For the past 2 months it has been a struggle for my family. She was involved in 2nd accident whereby she hit her head again. She had a concussion.. Which leads to blood clot.
She was in icu for a week .. Which is the most trying moments for us. I was constantly crying throughout the 1st night she entered icu because there is real possibility she won't wake up anymore.

However, after my aunty from melacca called us and said she saw a vision. God took her to heaven for a visit.. And it will be up to God to let her stay in heaven. Note that my grandma accepted Christ before she's in Icu.. So the bridge is formed and she can go to heaven.
My aunty also warned us about how our relatives will become very religious and aggressive.. She asked us to hold back and do not start an argument with them. It's fortunate that she told my mom this before she scold them for all the taoism stuff they applied on my grandma.. For God sakes they put an audio player which was removed as it was causing noise in Icu.. Zz

I was very relieved after hearing that.. I believe her vision and.. Even if my grandma did pass away.. I'll still be fine because she's in heaven.
However she did come back and she's alive as of today. The first few things she said was.. She was brought to heaven
She was brought back to open the hearts of my relatives to Christ..

When she was unconscious in icu.. My relatives were already asking each other to prepare to let go of her.. And tell her when she's lying in coma in icu.. To let go
My family however, insist she must fight for her life till God decide
Why am I telling this is that.. The difference between a christian and others is so evident in facing situation like this

Sometimes I got so angry because of the crap my aunt did.. Like putting concentrated alcohol directly to my grandma face..
It was so concentrated it could cause chemical burns..
I seriously question why are there ppl who believe in Taoism. The temple said there is no more hope.. But who's breathing now?

Also. My cousin claimed that grandma said that guan yin brought her to heaven. Not Christ..
I seriously doubt that's how Buddhism heaven works..I've learnt abit about it.. But it doesn't work like that. Touring around place where u use up ur karma and return to earth?
Anyway.. My grandma was very unhappy when she was forced by my aunt and her husband to recite amitabha after she became conscious. I know very well my grandma is a christian now who is under alot of pressure from my relatives as they are unhappy when someone doesn't share their faith.

I'm not writing this to condemn other religions but my grandma being stuck in the hospital is actually causing a spiritual warfare between my family and my relatives.
Once, they got angry cuz they couldn't find the bracelet they got from the temple.. Baseless accusations fly from their mouth claiming that we threw them away..
My parents told us not to interfere with the religious stuff they do.. So we didn't..

The most ridiculous thing throughout this whole ordeal was.. Someone gave my grandma honey.. Presumably due to her throat which has alot of blockage..
But seriously? Honey as a gift to a DIABETIC patient?
We nvr found out who it was tho.

Ah.. Sorry for the long rant..
In conclusion... She seems fine now.. Slowly she's gaining her strength but I kinda doubt she will walk again =(

I love u my grandma

Worst Semester Ever!!

Why? because of this!

It's bad enough that I'm having law exam this semester..It had to be on 6/5/2013 at 9am..ZzzZzz

Election day was on 5/5/2013.

Sigh..I was so taken in by the election result at night..It's almost impossible to study.

It was my 1st time to vote..I felt a sense of pride when I voted but then..

It was devastating to see the results..Nevertheless..I'm not interested to rant about it anymore

It feels pretty over now =X

Funny thing..I didn't really start studying on 5/5 till 12am..I really wanted to give up..at last I didn't and managed to study everything

I had to force myself to power off my laptop and my phone and put it far away.

Passing law was far too important compared to looking at the results and happenings and feeling helpless and angry (you know what I mean)

I forgot what time I slept for that 9am paper..but this sem was the worst..I watched sunrise for 2 days during exam weeks. Glad it's all over now!

How to study laa like this??

Each chapter so thick and full of words..We got 15 chaps in total for the semester..haha

Anyway..Law has to be the hardest subject everr...

Study up on criminal law, fraud and misrepresentation..and lastly, *jeng jeng jeng* LAW OF TORT.

Law of Tort is the most confusing of everything in law

I love talking about law..This is the only subject I can't stop talking about haha

Law is so interesting! It totally changes how I picture law is. 

Sometimes the wrong in our view is right in the eyes of the law. Vice versa applies

Law is basically not common sense all the time. 

We have power station visits this semester for assignment..which turns out totally useless hahaha

I sweat alot during the visit..Hate it..damn
